Our 25th year of rescue work was a very hard one. The economy has hit many people and we have seen this reflected in a drop of donations and an increase in abandoned animals. In one ten-day period we trapped nine female cats and kittens in a deli which is now closed. At two or three litters a year there could have been over a hundred kitties in this area by summer. Thank you to everyone who helped us find cats and kittens wonderful homes. Please remember to always spay and neuter your pets and if you have a stray cat in your yard, it is wise to spay or neuter it as well so you don't end up with a cat colony in your garage or shed.
