About Maggie:Maggie is a long hair tiger, maine coon mix. Approx. 1-3 years old. Very friendly and affectionate. Felv/Fiv neg, up to date on shots, and spayed. Gets along with cats, dogs, and children. Maggie or 'Mags' was brought to us by two friends who found her. She wasn't being accepted into the colony and wasn't eating. We think she may have been dumped because she was definitely a house cat. She is doing so good and would love to find a home. Please adopt this sweet heart! Picture coming soon.

DAY SIX: I enjoyed being out of the cage again today. I think I will come out from now on. I was able to hang out in the room with the other cats unsupervised. I hung out under the table and slept on a back pack most of the day. I did go and sleep on the bed for a little while, when the door was open and the other cats were running around the top floor. This family has two little kids and i let them pet me but not when the other cats are near. I still need some time to get used to the other cats. I still hiss at them but am not aggressive. DAY FIVE: My foster mom got all of the other cats out of the room and gave me the run of the room all by myself. I loved this! I love to sit by the window and watch the birds and cars go by. I am getting the hang of being in a home and am the queen of four foster boys. I could get used to this. They leave me alone because they know the boss. DAY FOUR: Today I came out of my cage and hung out on a high desk and away from everyone. I slept there most of the day. I let my foster mom pet me and pick me up. I roll over to let her pet my belly and purred to let her know that I was going to be okay. She was really starting to worry about me. DAY THREE: Today I still wanted to be left alone. My foster mom let me sit in the window for a few minutes and I missed the outside and was trying to find away to escape. I got scared of the other cats around so I went back into that horrible cage! DAY TWO: Today I sat in my cage. My foster mom left my cage open but I just hung out and slept. BRINGING HER HOME: I was rescued by two friends who found me with a colony that was not accepting me. I was not eating but I was very friendly and scared. They brought me to the vet and I received my vaccines and a check up. I was doing okay until they put me into a cage and brought me to my new foster home. I was so scared! I was put into a cage, so I crawled into the litter box and hid. I hissed at everyone that went by including the cats but I just stared at the big dog. My foster mom tried to pet me today, but I just wanted to be left alone.
